The seed of our company was planted by Holger Bregnhøi and Oline Stærke, two engineers from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), who observed the challenges in customizing and developing Internet of Things (IoT) products. Driven by a shared vision to address these complexities, we embarked on a journey to simplify the IoT landscape for businesses and innovators alike.
Our efforts to make IoT more accessible and user-friendly were recognized early on, earning us the DTU Startup of the Year award, and placing us as finalists in the Danish Tech Challenge. Such acknowledgments, along with features in various magazines, were not just accolades but milestones that underscored our commitment to our mission.
Since those early days, we've grown from a concept to a company that has successfully supported numerous businesses in implementing IoT solutions, now with a dedicated team of nine. Each member brings their passion and expertise to our collective goal, truly making our progress a team effort.
January 2024 marked a new chapter for us, as we welcomed our first investment from three angel investors. This support is not just financial; it's a vote of confidence in our vision and our future. We're also grateful for the backing from institutions such as the Innovation Fund, Industriens Fond, Mikrolegat, Digital Lead, Aage & Yelva Nimbs Foundation, Kai Houmann Nielsens Fond, and Hans Følsgaard, whose support has been instrumental in our journey.
Looking back, we've come a long way from our initial days at DTU. Yet, our core mission remains the same: to demystify IoT and make it a tangible asset for companies, to create a positive impact on the economy and environment. Our story is still being written, and we look forward to the chapters yet to come, hopeful for the future and grateful for the path that has led us here.
